chap 16 “what matters most”
Life is all about love. Love is needed to foster a good relationship. However, loving is not an easy task, especially if you’re instructed to love unselfishly. It is only in loving that we can be like God, to be kind and caring to our loved ones. God wants us to love everyone, but he’s more concerned that we learn to love others in his family. We should offer special attention to those who are in the family of believers. God’s family needs to get priority in loving because our love for one another is the greatest witness to the world. . Our strong love for each other will prove that we are God’s people. We must continue to have close fellowship with other believers, so as to develop the skill of loving. Love cannot be learned in isolation, love has to be developed in relationships. Sometimes, love is even required with difficult, imperfect, irritating, frustrating and imperfect people. We’ve to learn to talk and deal with them.
Love has to be our top priority, and the greatest objective in life. Love has to play a major role in our lives; it’s the most impt thing.
Life without love is worthless:
Often, we try to squeeze time and find time for our fwens, children or parents. This gives a big impression that relationships are just part of our lives along with many other trivial tasks. BUT that’s not the case, relationships are what life is all about, and itself is really impt. Without love, life is just nothing at all!
Busyness is a great enemy of relationships. We become preoccupied with work, doing our own stuff and accomplishing our own goals and dreams. The point of life is to learn others and God.
Love will last forever:
Love is eternal, thus it’s impt that we make love our main priority is life. love leaves a legacy. It has a great impact on those ppl who you have showed love and concer for. It’s not how much you do, but how much love you put into it that matters. Love is a long lasting heritage that will last forever.
We will be evaluated on our love:
We will be evaluated of our love in eternity. God measures spiritual maturity by the quality of your relationships. Do you show genuine love and concern for your spiritual sisters and brothers.?
