chap 7: the reason for everything”

We honor God by fulfilling our purposes on earth. “When anything in creation fulfills its purpose, it brings glory to God.” The birds brings glory by chirping, flying, mating, and the cats do it by meowing, licking milk and simply sleeping. We are made differently, God made ants to be ants, and us to be us.

We being God glory by serving others with our gifts:

We are all different people and are equipped with different talents and abilities. Some are musically inclined, or perhaps have the dance streak in them; others simply are eloquent in speech and can say an impromptu speech anytime, anywhere. We can use our talents and abilities to serve others, for example, if we are good with children, able to talk and play with them, we can serve in the children’s ministry in Sunday school or giving tuition to the kids weak in their studies. God has given each of us spiritual gifts and abilities, manage it well, use them to bless others so that people will be greatly blessed through you.

We bring God glory by telling others about him:

Since we know that God has designed a unique and special purpose in each and everyone’s life, therefore we should not keep this truth as a secret. Rather, let’s share it with others so that they too will also have this privilege, discovering their destiny and purpose in life, to prepare them for an eternal purpose. We also want them to be part of the kingdom of God, so that when the 2nd coming has come, we will be reunited with friends and loved ones.

We bring God glory by worshipping him:

When we worship God, we are giving him the greatest glory and honor. It is our responsibility to worship, for as long as we live, all tongues should proclaim that Jesus is lord and king. worship itself shouldn’t be a chore. It should be a form of enjoyment, we should enjoy the presence of the lord as we worship him. our worship should be motivated by love, thanksgiving and delight, not DUTY and discipline.
