Isaiah 56 : “salvation for others”
“Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.” During this modern world of unrest and distress, the most important thing would be to maintain justice and to do what is right. Do what is holy and righteousness, and pleasing to the lord. For salvation is here, and it is made available to everyone, so whoever who needs it can draw close to the lord and accept his invitation. The righteousness and holiness of the lord is what makes the lord pure and sacred, we need to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ before we can build an intimate relationship with the lord.
“To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. And foreigners who bind themselves to the lord who serve him, I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.” God will not neglect all the foreigners and those that have been oppressed. Those people who face persecution in their families and schools, the lord will not forsake them. But as he sees them staying strong in the faith and drawing nearer to the lord, he rewards them with large amounts of blessings and says that he is pleased and happy with their performance. And those who are in the minority groups who face serious oppression and persecution from their families and friends, WHEN they stay firm in their faith, not wavering in their spiritual path, the lord will eventually grant them an everlasting name where they will not be cut off from the kingdom of God. These people are those who persevered and press through till the end, never giving up even till the last minute. They are warriors of the light who are determined to win this battle; they have already claimed the victory of this battle. The oppressed, the desolate, the sick, the needy, the destitute, the lord will not despise. In fact, he will shower them with more blessings and opportunities. All these people just need to ask from the lord and he will give it to them.
“Come!” each one cries, “let me get wine! Let us drink our fill of beer! And 2mr will be like today, or even far better.” This group of people does not know that the 2nd coming is near, and that they still have the time to play and drink around. They are still enjoying life the way they think it should be, and that the 2nd coming is still far, and that the great commission to them is not a big deal. They could not see the urgency of the spread of the gospel, as their eyes are closed and their spiritual ears unable to hear. They do not understand the seriousness of the situation, that soon the beast\(anti-chris) will reign and the tribulation period will soon come. We’re gotta stay firm in our spiritual walk and develop a strong relationship with the lord. Walk right in the lord, and dedicate your lives to the almighty God. Die to yourself everydae! Live life the way God wants.
